Oregon & Washington drift boat and fishing raft rentals.

ABOUT US
The Boats We Rent
We are committed to renting only quality built and well maintained boats. All our boats are purchased new, directly from the manufacturer, and we replace every boat in our fleet after only 200 rentals. In most of our western Oregon and Washington locations we offer Willie brand aluminum 17’ X 54” drift boats. East of the Cascades we generally offer Clackacraft 16’ SSG model drift boats. Some specific locations both westside and eastside offer the NRS Otter 13’ inflatable frame rafts set up for fishing. Our rental agents are experienced boaters and fishermen who inspect every boat and trailer in our fleet before every rental. Included with every rental are top quality Sawyer or Lamiglas brand composite rowing oars, Stearns paddlesports Type 3 PFD’s and a quality first aid kit. With our drift boat fleet we also provide salmon landing nets and extra Carhartt PVC raingear for our customers comfort.
Our Network of Locations
We have a growing network of rental locations across Oregon and Washington. Our rental agents are located at both bait and tackle shops and in some cases at private residences close to the rivers and lakes that are popular with anglers region wide. For a complete list of current rental locations please see our locations page or see our booking page. Our rental agents have been carefully screened, are knowledgeable about local waterways, and are committed to top quality customer service. Pickup and drop off times vary by location, so please remember to check the pickup and drop off times at the location you rent from and plan your trip accordingly.
Payment Policies
Full payment is required to confirm your reservation. If you cancel your reservation more than 2 weeks in advance of the date of your trip, you will receive a refund of 50% of the amount of the rental. Because peak fishing times are short and boats are often booked weeks or months in advance, cancellations made less than 2 weeks in advance of the date of the reservation do not receive any refund. Unfortunately we also cannot give refunds due to high water or other inclement weather, however, if rivers are un-fishable on the day of your rental we will gladly reschedule your reservation for any future open date.
Deposits, Insurance, and Waivers
AnglersRental carries both liability and hull insurance that covers our business, our rental agents, and our boats. While our insurance covers us, it doesn’t cover possible boat damage or liability that could be incurred by our customers while they are on the water. As such, each boat rental from us will also require a liability and damage waiver, and customers must carry their own insurance for each rental to cover the boats when in transit or on the water with our boats.
Please be aware that renters are responsible for any damage to the boats (beyond normal wear and tear), injuries, or damage to others property when the boats are in their care and custody. In the event that the boat or gear is damaged beyond normal wear and tear, the cost of the damage is the responsibility of the renter up to the deductible on the renters insurance policy. In some cases a security deposit may also be required which is fully refundable when the boat is returned clean and in good condition. Before any on the water activity we will also require a signed copy of our rental agreement and a signed copy of our safety checklist (including your float plan) at the time of your rental. Both of these forms can be downloaded from our web site prior to your rental.
Trailers and Towing
Our boats have been chosen with ease of trailer-ability in mind. If you have a pickup truck or SUV with a Class IV hitch (2 inch ball) then you shouldn’t have any problem pulling one of our boats. Please check with your vehicle’s manufacturer to determine the maximum towing capacity for your vehicle. Most SUVs and pickup trucks have a maximum towing capacity of at least 3000 lbs which is more than sufficient to tow any of our boats. Not sure if your SUV or truck makes the grade? Contact us and we can help you determine if your vehicle’s hitch and wiring will work with our trailers. In many cases we will have the necessary adapter available that will fits your towing vehicle. Renters can take the boats anywhere in the region that has good roads, giving access to go wherever the fish are biting.
Safety Commitment
AnglersRental is committed to safety on the water. We provide USCG approved Stearns Paddlesports Type III Personal Floatation Devices with each boat we rent and we encourage our customers to use them at all times. Each of our rental locations has different both child and adult size PFD’s in stock, and we would ask that renters advise the number and sizes of PFD’s necessary at the time of booking. First aid kits are provided in the boats for renters use at no charge, we only ask that you advise us if any of the materials in the kit are used so we can restock them for future rentals.
We require our customers have experience with how to row and fill out a simple float plan for their rental. The float plan includes an agreed upon time off the water and an agreed upon time to call local search and rescue if the renter hasn’t returned and has not called our rental agent to advise that they are running behind the times listed in the agreed upon float plan. In the event of an accident or injury involving our boats or customers we will require our customers to fill out an accident report form detailing the circumstances of the incident. In the event of an accident involving another boat on the river we ask our renters to render any and all assistance possible without endangering themselves. If rendering assistance to another boater on the water cuts short the trip of one of our renters, we will refund the cost of the rental or provide another boat rental at no charge to the customer.
Shuttle Services
Please remember that AnglersRental does not provide shuttle services and it is your responsibility to arrange for a shuttle service to transfer your vehicle from the launch point to the takeout if necessary. We maintain a list of river shuttle services on our web site and would appreciate any feedback on the quality of their services.
Once again, we thank you for your business and hope you have an enjoyable and safe day on the water! Please take just a moment and review the basics of river boat operation and river courtesy before your trip.
